Janna Snyder brings years of business and community support to A Courageous Voice. Her passion for the safety and literacy of women and children stem from strong Human Resource and Business Management experience in both public and private sectors. She has developed position-sharing departments and job posting programs for businesses and Fortune 500 to help women move from ‘survive to thrive’ employment, while reducing turnover and associated costs.
Snyders’ Board positions include Michigan Professional Women’s Network, Women of the Kirk, and Hope Against Trafficking. Her active memberships in Impact 100 Metro Detroit and Oakland, Assistance League of SE Michigan, American Association of University Women, Women United, 4Word and 100 Women Who Care groups keep her connected to community needs.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Leadership from Central Michigan University. Janna grew up in Detroit and currently resides with her high school sweetheart, Craig, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. They have two grown children: Ross and Kellie.
“I’m excited about my relationship with A Courageous Voice. Collaboration of resources represents the best definition of networking. Without a safe environment, a child is unable to successfully assimilate into healthy lifetime relationships. Without literacy a mother will never break the ties of marginalization for her and her family. Together we are stronger.”
