Amanda Cruz Herberg is a licensed social worker (LMSW) and has been working in the field for 15 years. Amanda started off as a school social worker where she facilitated programs such as bully prevention, peer mediation, and parental involvement, alongside working in special education. Additionally, she worked as a therapist at CARE House, a child advocacy center, working with children and families who experienced physical and/or sexual abuse, which also include court advocacy. Right before working with ACV she was the residential manager at Hope Against Trafficking, working alongside human trafficking survivors.
Amanda is a mother to her two young sons ages 4 and 6, as well as to her two dogs, all of whom keep her and her husband busy!
Amanda has a love and passion for abuse prevention and empowering people, especially youth, to independently make safe choices for themselves!
