Aliah is a passionate advocate for children’s safety and well-being, and she has dedicated her career to supporting at-risk communities. Her journey in nonprofit work began in 2012 as an unpaid intern at an inner-city after-school program, where the spark of service was ignited. Over the years, Aliah has served in various leadership roles, working with abused and neglected youth, juvenile detention centers, and children on the Autism Spectrum, implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy to support their development.
Most recently, Aliah served as the full-time Program Director for Hope Against Trafficking, where she played a pivotal role in improving a two-year residential program for adult female survivors of human trafficking. Her expertise in program development and her commitment to vulnerable populations have shaped her approach to advocacy and support. Aliah transitioned from this role in 2024 to become a full-time mom to her three daughters while continuing her commitment to making a difference in the community.
Now, as a new board member for A Courageous Voice, Aliah is excited to bring her extensive experience and passion to the organization. She is dedicated to helping empower children to be safe both on and off-line, raising awareness about potential dangers and predators, and ensuring that young people have the tools they need to protect themselves.
